About Me.
My name is Tavia Jones, and I am from the New England area. I attended Hamilton College in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and obtained my bachelor’s in criminal justice. I furthered my education at Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia, and obtained my Masters in Community Counseling. I believe that despite the life challenges we may face, proper guidance and support set the foundation for everyone to succeed. With over 10 years in counseling, my approach to therapy is providing a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to address the challenges that have impacted your life and working collaboratively together to find the best possible solutions to meet your needs. Although no two people are the same, sometimes we struggle to thrive, and we find ourselves simply surviving. Through therapy, we can develop insight into your behaviors, address and improve challenges that have impacted your life, learn coping strategies, or just simply find some balance to problems you may have struggled with. I specialize in substance abuse/addictions, domestic violence, and various behaviors in young adults and adults aged 18 and older.
